The objective of the Jean Monnet Chair “Global Commons in the Global European Strategy: a specific revision of Human Rights, Security and consideration the sea as an unvaluable resource” (GCEU) is to promote the teaching, investigation and dissemination of key strategic common interests of the European Union: (a) Human Rights, (b) Security and (c) promote the reconsideration of the sea. The Chair aims to increase the interest related to European issues in the Catholic University of Valencia (UCV).

The Chair seeks to extend analysis of these key Fundamental Rights interests in university both in and outside Europe, both in situ and on-line, and thus to take advantage of virtual resources on-line. Such initiatives are open not only to students, young researchers and teachers, but also to professionals and members of the public administration. The Chair Holder is the PhD.
